Read This. It says it all. Stolen from IBA !...Below is the speech given at today's (30th Oct 2010) demonstration at Generatorstraat in Amsterdam by the British author and former Parliamentary candidate Paul Weston.TweetMy name is Paul Weston, and I represent the International Free Press Society.
And I am standing here today because our liberal elites have betrayed our countries to Islam.
Forty-two years ago the British politician Enoch Powell made his famous “Rivers of Blood” speech, in which he stated that “The supreme function of statesmanship is to provide against preventable evils.”
Our politicians today do the exact opposite. They actively promote a preventable evil.
But eighty years ago one man, Winston Churchill, was very clear about preventing a clear and present evil, Herr Hitler and the Nazis. But Churchill was a lone voice crying in the wind of appeasement, and the carnage that could have been avoided came with a vengeance.
And today Europe finds itself in much the same position. Even as Islam grows demographically, territorially, and militantly, it is promoted as the “religion of peace” by the same type of cowardly, careerist politicians who once appeased Hitler. Islam was not the religion of peace to Winston Churchill. He described it as the religion of blood and war.
Anyone with a knowledge of the foundations and history of Islamic expansion knows this to be the truth.
Mohammed was a warlord. And a very good warlord indeed. By the time of his death he had militarily defeated and converted most of the pagan and Christian tribes of the Arabian Peninsula.
After his death Islam rapidly expanded at the point of a sword, defeating ancient civilisations and overrunning continents as it did so.
And today it is within Europe, it is within the West, and it is calling for what it has always called for: total Islamic domination. And if we wish to resist, then they will use terror against us.
Yet still our treasonous politicians call it the “religion of peace”, and tell us that if we refuse to share such a fantastical and ridiculous notion, that if we choose to believe Winston Churchill’s argument that Islam is a religion of blood and war, then we will be sent to prison.
Of course it is not a religion of peace. Its founder was a warrior, and the highest honour bestowed upon a Muslim is the promise of hordes of scented houris and an eternal leg-over in the after life, achievable not by being a good Samaritan, but by dying as a martyr in the physical battle to expand imperialist Islam.
Islam literally means submission. What kind of a religion can possibly call itself submission?
Islam divides the world into two spheres. The House of Islam (submission) and the House of War. What kind of religion defines itself by military conquest?
Yet our leaders tell us we cannot criticise Islam because it is a religion, whilst the organisation of the Islamic conference, in cahoots with the united nations is striving to make any criticism of Islam illegal.
But Islam is so much more than just a religion. It is a political, social, legal and structural blueprint which totally dominates a devout Muslim’s life, and wishes coincidentally to dominate all devout non-Muslims’ lives as well.
It is profoundly illiberal and it is profoundly undemocratic. It does not believe in the man-made laws of democracy, preferring instead to adhere to the absolute word of Allah, as interpreted by an illiterate 7th-century desert dweller.
And our politicians have imported this illiberal and undemocratic ideology into the liberal democracies than make up the West, and then they dare to criminalise us when we object to this!
But how can we not criticise Islam? Can our politicians really protect it as a religion and therefore place it out of legal reach?
When homosexuals are hung from cranes, is this political Islam in action or religious Islam?
When adulterous women are buried up to their shoulders in sand and stoned to death, is this political Islam or religious Islam?
When Muslims who wish to leave Islam are issued with death sentences, is this political Islam, or is this religious Islam?
When wives and daughters are slaughtered to protect their families’ honour by husbands fathers and uncles, is this political Islam or religious Islam?
If it is political, then it must be denounced as evil and barbaric. If it religious, how can it possibly not be denounced as the same? What is evil is evil and what is barbaric is barbaric and cannot be exempted from criticism because it is sheltered by the word “religion”.
In criminalising free speech, our socialist leaders reveal their dictatorial ambition. The mark of a free society is freedom of speech. To take this away is a totalitarian act, made all the worse because freedom of speech is our only defence in the peaceful opposition against the foreign totalitarian ideology of Islam.
And I hope this irony is not lost on you. In order to protect and advance a foreign totalitarian ideology, our own rulers are prepared to adopt native totalitarian means to stop us defending our democracy and our freedom.
The West lives in accordance with the European Convention on Human Rights. Islam does not. They signed up instead to the Cairo Declaration on Human Rights in Islam.
But they have a very important caveat: when sharia law collides with human rights law, guess which law prevails?
Quite so. Sharia is the top trumps when it comes to human rights.
This is like a signatory to the Geneva convention murdering and torturing prisoners of war, and being given a pass at a war trial because it was “part of their religion.”
And when our politicians today excuse Islam as a religion of peace and allow them to set the rules both at home, at the European Union, and at the United Nations, then our politicians are betraying their countries and they are betraying their people. They are committing treason.
“Can one commit treason in a time of peace?” people may ask. But are we really at peace?
We may not consider ourselves at war with Islam, but Islam considers itself at war with us.
And it is a war we are losing. Territorially, demographically, politically, and democratically.
In fact, it is a war of aggression on two fronts. Radical Islam on the one, and left-wing treason on the other.
Our children are told to celebrate multiculturalism and Islam, without being told the real history of violent expansionist Islam.
Instead, they are told that their own history, their religion, their culture, their traditions, their very being, is just a litany of imperialism, racism, murder and slavery. This is a proven psychological technique designed to render an enemy helpless, or to quote Alexander Solzhenitsyn, “in order to destroy a people, you must first sever their roots.”
Any government that does this to its own people, to its own children, is a government that deserves, manifestly deserves, to be overthrown.
Can anyone really argue that a government that praises the foreign invader whilst psychologically and legally stripping away the defences of its people is a government that is not guilty of treason?
Now here we come to a more uplifting part of this depressing monologue, because in this part of the battle we are advancing. Slowly, admittedly, but relentlessly, and I think we are now unstoppable.
Geert Wilders here in the Netherlands, René Stadtkewitz in Germany, whose immediate popularity caused Angela Merkel to make an abrupt U-turn and denounce Multiculturalism.
The Sweden Democrats, Heinz-Christian Strache in Austria, the Swiss People’s Party, and in England we await a political movement to pick up the baton from the rapidly growing English Defence League.
And that growth can only accelerate. As more and more people become aware of Islam and become aware of the depth of treason perpetrated by their liberal rulers, and most importantly, as people lose their fear of being labelled a racist — which was a label specifically designed to strip us of resistance against a racially designated invader who uses race as a weapon.
In fact, let us deal with this “racist” label right now. It is not racist to defend your country against an obvious and growing threat. It is not racist to defend your culture, your heritage, and your traditions. It is not racist to work to ensure a democratic future for your children and grandchildren.
If you choose not to defend your country, your culture and the democratic future of your children, then you may well pat yourselves on the back in your non-racist champagne socialist cocktail bars in Islington; you may well love other people’s anti-racist credentials almost as much as you love your own; but there is no getting away from the label I have for you.
You are a traitor and a betrayer of your country, a betrayer of your culture, and a betrayer of our yet unborn children.
And you are a racist, indeed a genocidal racist. Young native Europeans will become a demographic ethnic minority within their own homelands if immigration rates and birth rates stay the way they are for just one more generation.
This can politely be called population replacement. More crudely, it is bloodless genocide.
The United Nations is very clear on this. Their definition of genocide is as follows:
Quote.
Article 2.
In the present convention genocide means any of the acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, racial or religious group.
We have been betrayed.
And one of the saddest aspects of this betrayal is the effect it has had on those old ex-warriors who fought for their countries in recent living memory.
Ex-Spitfire pilot Alex Henshaw died three years ago. He was acutely aware of the political betrayal of his country. He said:
“I feel extreme emotional sadness for the young men I knew that gave their lives willingly for a cause in which we all believed. And I often say to myself that if those young boys would come down now and walk through the villages, through the towns and through the cities and look around and see what is happening to us, they would say somewhere along the line we have been betrayed.”
Yes, Mr. Henshaw, I am afraid you have, and all of you socialist/liberal/left-wing people need to know what you have done.
You need to take a walk around your cities, towns and villages, take a look at the hundreds of thousand of graves standing as testament to the ultimate sacrifice made by our young men in order that you may live in a liberal democracy today.
You need to understand that this a not just betrayal, but a triple betrayal:
*The betrayal of all our old soldiers whose sacrifice granted us freedom,
* The betrayal of my generation who you threaten to imprison if we defend our inherited freedom, and
* The betrayal of our yet unborn, who, unless we stop it seem set to inherit a country racked with tribal and religious hatred, which must inevitably lead to a continental scale multicultural war that will make the break-up of Yugoslavia look like a bun-fight.
And, of course, it is also the betrayal of freedom and democracy.
Because freedom and democracy did not just magically appear. They evolved over two and a half thousand years, rooted in Greco-Roman Judeo-Christian ancestry. And were fought for and defended with much blood and sacrifice.
Democracy and freedom are not the personal possessions of socialist politicians to be handed away, without our agreement, to the descendants of a 7th century desert warlord, who view our attachment to democracy as just a weakness to be used against us.
I do not blame Islam. Fundamentalist Muslims are just doing what it says in the book.
But I do blame our politicians. There are two sides in this civilisational stand-off, and our politicians have sided with the enemy.
So I say to them:
You may well hold the levers of power at the moment, but we are on the rise and we are unstoppable. Do you seriously think you can do what you have done to your own people without repercussion?
You could stop this now if you chose to, by the simple expedient of putting the interests of your own people before the interests of Islam.
But you won’t do that will you? So you put us in an almost impossible position. If we do nothing we must accept our children and grandchildren will one day live under sharia law.
And if we do something, then it must by definition be revolutionary. But we did not start this. You did. Most of us would have been quite happy to mow the lawn, hold down a mundane job, and pay our taxes.
You have made us revolutionaries. And whilst your behaviour suggests you fear Islam more than you fear us, let me tell you something, you lying, betraying, treacherous, socialist careerists:
We might not hold power today, but given another decade, we will, and then we will hold you to account. You will appear before a Nuremberg-style court, and you will be tried for treason, and you will be tried for crimes against humanity, and for the first time in a very long time you will be answerable to us!

General Eisenhower Warned Us
He did this because he said in words to this effect:
'Get it all on record now - get the films - get the witnesses -because somewhere down the road of history some bastard will get up and say that this never happened'
This week, the UK debated whether to remove The Holocaust from its school curriculum because it 'offends' the Muslim population which claims it never occurred. It is not removed as yet.. However, this is a frightening portent of the fear that is gripping the world and how easily each country is giving into it.
It is now more than 60 years after the Second World War in Europe ended. This e-mail is being sent as a memorial chain, in memory of the,6 million Jews, 20 million Russians, 10 million Christians, and 1,900 Catholic priests Who were 'murdered, raped, burned, starved, beat, experimented on and humiliated' while the German people looked the other way!
Now, more than ever, with Iran, among others, claiming the Holocaust to be 'a myth,' it is imperative to make sure the world never forgets. This e-mail is intended to reach 400 million people! Be a link in the memorial chain and help distribute this around the world. How many years will it be before the attack on the World Trade Center 'NEVER HAPPENED' because it offends some Muslim in the U.S. ???
Do not just delete this message; it will take only a minute to pass this along.

Where is the Tzunami when needed ?!
COLOMBO (AFP) – Police in the Maldives have arrested a marriage celebrant who abused a foreign couple as "swine" and "infidels" during a luxury ceremony in the holiday paradise, an official said.
Maldivian police spokesman Ahmed Shiyam said the celebrant, who conducted the ceremony in the local language at an upmarket resort fringed by white sand and turquoise water, had been arrested with another hotel employee on Thursday.
A video of the ceremony, during which the hapless couple are taunted and subjected to a series of insulting and religious-tinged abuse, was posted on YouTube and has sparked fears for the country's tourism-dependent economy.
The hotel had initially identified the victims as Swiss, but a highly placed tourism source in the Maldives told AFP said they were in fact French. Police declined to confirm their nationality.
"We started investigations and treat this as a very serious matter," Shiyam told AFP by telephone when contacted in the capital island Male.
He said the two men were taken before a magistrate who ordered them to be detained for five days. "Both are being held at a police station in Male," he added.
Maldivian President Mohamed Nasheed announced his government will introduce strict guidelines on conducting wedding ceremonies in his nation of tiny coral islands which is known as a top honeymoon destination.
British comic Russell Brand and US pop star Katy Perry are the latest celebrities to head to the Indian Ocean nation for a honeymoon after tying the knot in India last weekend.
"All tourist hotels without exception will be required to follow the new guidelines which will be issued shortly," the president's office said in a statement.
Nasheed expressed "disgust" at the incident and described the behaviour of those involved as "absolutely disgraceful," the statement said.
He appealed to hotel staff to be "vigilantly professional" and said "bad behaviour, such as that depicted in the YouTube video, can cause enormous damage to the country's tourism industry."
The ceremony took place earlier this month, but a video of it was posted on the Internet by another hotel employee five days ago and since gone viral.
The Vilu Reef hotel, where the ceremony took place, said it was "unforgivable" that a staff member had read out the sexual and religious slurs in the Dhivehi language and apologised for his conduct.
"You are swine," the couple were told. "The children that you bear from this marriage will all be bastard swine.
"Your marriage is not a valid one. You are not the kind of people who can have a valid marriage. One of you is an infidel. The other, too, is an infidel and, we have reason to believe, an atheist."
The wife, wearing a white dress and carrying a bouquet, and her husband smile shyly through the ceremony, which was to renew their marriage vows at a cost of 1,300 dollars.
In front of a table decorated with incense sticks, the English-speaking couple bow their heads in prayer through the torrent of accusations, curses and swearing from the celebrant.
At the end of the 15-minute routine, they exchange rings as the staff clap, before heading onto the beach to plant a coconut tree in the sand.
The Islamic republic of the Maldives, a nation of palm-fringed islands scattered in the Indian Ocean, is one of the world's most exclusive honeymoon destination and its economy relies heavily on tourism.

Bomb squads investigating UPS cargo flights that landed in Philly and Newark, N.J.
By TERESA MASTERSON
Updated 11:42 AM EDT, Fri, Oct 29, 2010
Two planes at Philadelphia International Airport and one plane at Newark Liberty Airport with "questionable shipments" are being investigated by the FBI, bomb squads and local police Friday morning, United Parcel Service and TSA officials say.
All three planes with suspicious packages are UPS planes.
In addition to these three flights, there was a cargo flight from Yemen to Chicago that was stopped in London because a toner cartridge was found converted into an exposive device, CNN reports.
Two occupants of one of the UPS planes at Philadelphia International Airport were removed from the plane on the tarmac and a bomb squad began investigating suspicious packages from the flight beginning at about 9:20 a.m. Friday.
Sources tell NBC Philadelphia that one of the UPS flights that landed in Philadelphia came from Paris.
Airport spokeswoman Victoria Lupica says Philadelphia police and other agencies are with the planes at a remote part of the airport. Lupica says she believes the flights are cargo planes, and video from the airport shows emergency vehicles around a UPS jet.
According to a statement from the TSA, they are "aware of and monitoring reports of potentially suspicious items onboard cargo flights that landed safely at Newark Liberty and Philadelphia International airports. Out of an abundance of caution the planes were moved to a remote location where they are being met by law enforcement officials and swept."
A source told NBC New York that a ground search of the ramp at Newark Liberty is underway after the suspicious packages were removed from the plane.
No inbound or outbound flights have been affected.

Muslim Boy Calls Out, "Heil Hitler" To My Daughter
TweetMuslim Boy Calls Out, "Heil Hitler" To My Daughter At School Today
For the last few weeks, she had been telling me about her new Muslim friend at school. She really seemed to like the kid. And, to my mind, that is a good thing, as I would truly like us all to get along with each other, if at all possible.
She mentioned that he told her Islam was the same as Christianity, because "we believe in Jesus too," but he had not pressed the issue much. She asked me if what he said is true. I told her that the Jesus that Muslims believe in did not die on the cross for our sins, so he really isn't the same Jesus.
I asked her if her friend was nice, and she said, "Yes," so I told her that is what really matters. If people are kind, it doesn't really matter what religion they are. What really matters is behavior. But, I cautioned her never to argue with him about religion, because it simply is not worth it.
Anyway, today my daughter and some of her friends were discussing another friend of theirs, and she mentioned that the boy was Jewish.
According to my daughter, the Muslim boy's response to this bit of news was to call out, "Heil Hitler."
To which my daughter tells me she replied, "Hey dude, my Grandfather is Jewish."
I asked her how her Muslim friend reacted, and she said she didn't know because she turned her back and walked away from him.
I only wish we could simply turn away from this problem. But, we really can't, can we?posted by Pastorius

Elias Davidsson, Bonn, GermanyDECLARATION ON MUSLIMS AND 9/11
A. On the basis of the study "No evidence that Muslims hijacked planes on 9/11" by Elias Davidsson (2008), that we have carefully examined, and other similar studies, we undersigned are now convinced that the U.S. authorities did not prove [beyond reasonable doubt*] their account on the mass murder of September 11, 2001, in particular their claim that Muslims/Arabs committed this crime.
B. The presumption of innocence, as a civilised principle, is enshrined in Article 11 (1) of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, according to which, every person "charged with a penal offence has the right to be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law !" While the presumption of innocence was particularly drafted to protect the rights of persons already charged of a penal offence, it evidently applies to persons who have not even been formally accused of any offence.
C. On the basis of the above findings, we consider the publication and dissemination of the allegation that Muslim/Arabs committed the mass murder of 9/11, as a grievous and unconscionable form of character assassination. Such an allegation violates the principle of the presumption of innocence. It also violates Articles 1, 3, 5 and 8 of the Declaration of Principles on the Conduct of Journalists of the International Federation of Journalists, the Code of Ethics of the Society of Professional Journalists, the Statement of Principles of the American Society of Newspaper Editors (ASNE), and Resolution 1003 on the ethics of journalism, adopted by the Council of Europe in 1993.
D. We, therefore, call upon journalists to refrain henceforth from attributing, either directly or indirectly, the commission of the mass murder of 9/11 to Muslims or Arabs or to any Muslim or Islamic organisation; to publicise the unreported fact that the U.S. authorities did not produce any evidence of Muslim/Arab participation in the actual mass murder of 9/11; and to publish an apology to the families of those maligned, without foundation, for the mass murder of 9/11.

About taking the Oath.
Justice Minister: Jews should be required to sign loyalty oath tooDivisions in Israel's cabinet as vote on loyalty oath looms; Netanyahu: Israel is defined by its dual status as Jewish state and democracy.By Jonathan Lis and Barak RavidJustice Minister Ya'akov Ne'eman on Sunday suggested rewording the draft of his proposed loyalty oath to require both Jews and non-Jews alike to pledge their allegiance to Israel as a "Jewish and democratic state."
Ne'eman made the suggestion as cabinet ministers were deliberating and preparing to vote on his controversial amendment to the Citizenship Law, which would require only non-Jews seeking citizenship to make such a declaration.
As the divided cabinet began its deliberations, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reiterated his support for the proposal. "The State of Israel is the national state of the Jewish people and it is a democratic state for all its citizenship," he said. "Jews and non-Jews enjoy equality and full rights."
"Unfortunately, there are many today who tried to blur not only the unique connection of the Jewish people to its homeland, but also the connection of the Jewish people to its state," Netanyahu added.
"Democracy is the soul of Israel and we cannot do without it. No one can preach democracy or enlightenment to us," Netanyahu added. "Zionism established an exemplary national state, a state that balances between the national needs of our people and the individual rights or every citizen in the country."
"There is no other democracy in the Middle East," he declared. "There is no other Jewish state in the world. The combination of these two lofty values expresses the foundation of our national life and anyone who would like to join us needs to recognize this."
Netanyahu announced last week that he supports the proposal and it is expected to pass in the cabinet, as well.
Defense Minister and Labor Party Chairman Ehud Barak said Sunday that he would vote against the proposal unless the cabinet agreed to amend the wording. Barak said last week that he supported the amendment to the law but had reservations.
He said that the formulation of the declaration should be made in such a way so the pledge of allegiance should to the State of Israel as a "Jewish and democratic state in the spirit of the Declaration of Independence of [1948]."
Barak insisted that adding a reference to the Declaration of Independence "would be the best way to reflect the fundamental values of the State of Israel."
This slight change to include the declaration "would not harm the Arab minority," he said, noting that similar declarations are common in many countries in the world.
Most Labor ministers announced they will oppose the bill, including Isaac Herzog and Avishay Braverman, who lead the opposition, and Benjamin Ben-Eliezer, who was absent from the meeting but left a letter in which he expresses his opposition.
Minister Shalom Simhon (Labor) will also not be at the meeting; he is abroad on a business trip.
Herzog told Haaretz late Saturday that the resounding support for such an amendment showed that "fascism was devouring the margins of society."
"We are on a most dangerous slippery slope," he warned.
Likud ministers Dan Meridor and Benny Begin are expected to try and dissuade their cabinet colleagues from supporting the proposal. Their final vote remains unclear.
Sources close to Barak said last week that he does not oppose the basis of the amendment and does not consider the proposal problematic. However, it was not possible on Saturday to understand from those close to the defense minister whether he would support the proposal during the cabinet meeting or not, and whether he put forth his own proposal for a vote.
Due to the opposition the proposal stirred among Labor ministers, Barak issued a statement Saturday granting his party's ministers the right to vote as they saw fit.
"This is a matter of conscience and as such I will allow the Labor ministers to vote in line with their conscience," Barak said.Braverman, meanwhile, accused Barak of "abandoning the values of Labor" and intends to describe the proposal during the cabinet meeting as "a stain on the government of Israel."
Dan Meridor is also expected to lead an assault on the proposal and has warned that such an amendment to the law could severely damage relations with the Arab population in Israel.
Meridor is expected to attempt to persuade Likud ministers to delay the vote on the amendment.
Among the opponents to the amendment is Knesset Speaker Reuven Rivlin. He said: "The students of Jabotinsky see no need for such bill. I am a fervent Zionist, and I need no strengthening of my belief. The establishment of a Jewish state in the Land of Israel was an ethical act that the world recognized, and it gained great respect when we described our country as Jewish and democratic. This description is also anchored specifically in the Declaration of Independence and the Law on Elections, and any additions of this type can only be harmful."
The amendment is one of the promises Netanyahu made to Yisrael Beitenu in the coalition agreements. Since coming into government Yisrael Beitenu has advanced a long list of "loyalty" laws, which many consider to be discriminatory against Israel's Arab citizens.
"This law will not assist us as a society and a state. On the contrary, it could arm our enemies and opponents in the world in an effort to emphasize the trend for separatism or even racism within Israel," Rivlin said.
"I am not opposed to saying each morning and evening that we are a Jewish and democratic state, but why do we need this law?" Rivlin said.
Interior Minister Eli Yishai said, meanwhile, that he would propose his own bill that strip citizenship off of anyone convicted of disloyalty to the state.
"Declarations are not enough in the fact against incidents such as [MKs] Azmi Bishara and Hanin Zoabi," Yishai said in reference to two Israeli Arab lawmakers, one who is suspected of having contacts with enemy states and the other who took part in a Gaza-bound aid flotilla. "Anyone who betrays the state will lose his citizenship."

The soldiers climb the Snake Path at night and are sworn in with torches lighting the background. The IDF General Staff order from 1948 says that every soldier who receives his or her personal weapon will make the following pledge: "I swear and obligate to pledge allegiance to the State of Israel, its laws, and authorities, to accept upon myself unconditionally the authority of the Israel Defense Force, obey all the orders and instructions given by authorized commanders, devote all my energies, and even sacrifice my life for the protection of the homeland and liberty of Israel."Secular soldiers pledge allegiance by saying "I swear," while religious soldiers use the phrase "I declare."On March 19th 1966, after climbing the "Snake Path", I shouted three times "I swear" and finally got the sliding parts of my 'FN' ! Until then, I was dragging this useless piece of iron everywhere I went! I even dropped it once in a dark field shit-hole !...

America and Islam are not exclusive and need not be in competition. Instead, they overlap, and share common principles of justice and progress, tolerance and the dignity of all human beings.
Barack ObamaAnd I will do everything that I can as long as I am President of the United States to remind the American people that we are one nation under God, and we may call that God different names but we remain one nation.
Barack ObamaBut what we can do, as flawed as we are, is still see God in other people, and do our best to help them find their own grace. That's what I strive to do, that's what I pray to do every day.
Barack ObamaI consider it part of my responsibility as President of the United States to fight against negative stereotypes of Islam wherever they appear.
Barack ObamaI think it is important for Europe to understand that even though I am president and George Bush is not president, Al Qaeda is still a threat.
Barack ObamaI think when you spread the wealth around it's good for everybody.
Barack ObamaIt was not a religion that attacked us that September day. It was al-Qaeda. We will not sacrifice the liberties we cherish or hunker down behind walls of suspicion and mistrust.
Barack Obama ( That's the best one ! I like it ! )It's not surprising, then, they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.
Barack ObamaMy family, frankly, they weren't folks who went to church every week. My mother was one of the most spiritual people I knew but she didn't raise me in the church, so I came to my Christian faith later in life and it was because the precepts of Jesus Christ spoke to me in terms of the kind of life that I would want to lead.
Barack ObamaMy parents shared not only an improbable love, they shared an abiding faith in the possibilities of this nation. They would give me an African name, Barack, or blessed, believing that in a tolerant America your name is no barrier to success.
Barack ObamaOf course, violence will not end with our combat mission. Extremists will continue to set off bombs, attack Iraqi civilians and try to spark sectarian strife. But ultimately, these terrorists will fail to achieve their goals.
Barack ObamaOne of the great strengths of the United States is... we have a very large Christian population - we do not consider ourselves a Christian nation or a Jewish nation or a Muslim nation. We consider ourselves a nation of citizens who are bound by ideals and a set of values.
Barack ObamaThe United States has been enriched by Muslim Americans. Many other Americans have Muslims in their families or have lived in a Muslim-majority country - I know, because I am one of them.
Barack ObamaThe United States is not, and never will be, at war with Islam.
Barack ObamaWe are not at war against Islam. ( Islam is at war against "The Big Satan" ! )
Barack ObamaWe have real enemies in the world. These enemies must be found. They must be pursued and they must be defeated.
Barack Obama ( Look at the Eastern part of the Mediterranean sea ... ).The Bush Administration's failure to be consistently involved in helping Israel achieve peace with the Palestinians has been both wrong for our friendship with Israel, as well as badly damaging to our standing in the Arab world.

Turkey will cover Iran from European missile defense
19.10 15:06 MIGnews.com
NATO member, Turkey is likely to become the gravedigger of one of the most grandiose and expensive projects in the history of the alliance - the deployment of missile defense elements in Europe.
The official pretext of deployment is "the Iranian missile threat."
Americans are counting on the fact that the elements of missile defense will be, except in Europe, located in Turkey, and for a real defense against Iranian missiles Turkish stations are crucial. Americans upon request to the Turks.
Bulgarian news agency BGNES reported that the Turks had already responded to the request by denying that puts the whole idea of missile defense into question.
Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmed Davitoglu said: "We see no threat coming from the territory of our neighbors to our security or the security of NATO member countries."
Two other Balkan NATO members, who, by strange coincidence, are historical enemies of Turkey - Romania and Bulgaria hold the opposite view and consider Syria and Iran as one of the main sources of threats to European security and stability. Both countries agreed on the deployment of missile defense system on its territory.
Bulgaria's Defense Minister Ana Angelov said that Syrian missiles are a threat to security in the region. This led to a major diplomatic row, and Syria has threatened to sever diplomatic relations with Bulgaria.

Suspect was believed tobe one of the men caught on hotel's security cameras holding tennis racket, while entering elevator on this way to Mabhouh's room, Dubai police chief tells al-Jazeera
Roee Nahmias and Reuters Published: 10.19.10
Canadian police have arrested a suspect in the assassination of a Hamas commander in Dubai but offered Dubai police no information on the matter, the Gulf emirate's police chief said on Tuesday.
Assassins killed Mahmoud al-Mabhouh in his Dubai hotel room in January, a hit widely blamed on Israeli intelligence agents. The large-scale operation involved a ring of suspects who wore disguises and held passports from countries including Britain, France, Germany, and Australia.
Dubai police chief Dahi Khalfan Tamim said he was frustrated by the lack of any details or information from Canadian authorities regarding the arrest.
"We want clarity on this issue. We want the Canadian authorities to tell us exactly what the details are ? the thing that is discomfiting is the lack of transparency on this," he told Reuters.
He told the al-Jazeera network that the suspect was believed to be one ofthe men caught on the security cameras of the Al-Bustan Rotana Hotel wearing white clothes and holding a tennis racket, while entering the elevator on this way to Mabhouh's room.
Tamim said he had been informed that Canada would send a representative to Dubai to provide further information, but did not know when a debriefing would take place. Canadian officials have not responded to requests for comment from Reuters.
The Canadian arrest would be the second in the case. A suspected Israeli agent was detained in Poland in August and handed over to Germany, which freed him on bail. The man was suspected of fraudulently obtaining a German passport believed to have been used by a member of the hit squad.
Dubai police accused Israel in February of being behind the hit, a claim echoed by some other governments and which was followed by the expulsion of some Israeli diplomats in several countries. Israel, citing an "ambiguity" policy in intelligence activities, has refused to confirm or deny the allegations.

Posthumous honor for Dutch couple
After 65 years: Dutch couple becomes Righteous Among NationsTweet
Nicolaas and Hendrikje Plantinga hid 10 Jews in their attic for two years during Holocaust. Thanks to an Israeli woman, contact made between couple's son and Yad Vashem, which grants them honor

Posthumous honor for Dutch couple: Nicolaas and Hendrikje Plantinga received a posthumous Righteous Among the Nations award from Yad Vashem last week. The ceremony was attended by Aart Plantinga, the couple?s son, who received the posthumous honor on their behalf. He was accompanied by Elizabeth Alfarsi, who linked Yad Vashem with the Plantinga family.
The couple hid 10 Jews in their attic for two years. In 1944 they were exposed, and sent to the camps ? only one woman survived. Their bravery cost them the life of the head of the family, who was also sent to the camps, where he died.
The couple's son Aart, 81, still remembers his parents' act of bravery. His family lived in Amsterdam, where they owned a boarding house, run by his mother. Nicolaas, his father delivered dairy products each day through a neighborhood where many Jewish families resided. In the summer of 1942, the deportations of Dutch Jews to the death camps began, and customers along Nicolaas' route began to ask if they could take refuge in the Plantinga family?s boarding house.
Nicolaas and Hendrikje took 10 Jews into hiding: Lehman and Fietje Lierens and their son Jacques, three members of the Goudsmid family, Elkan de Vries, two sisters from the Drukkr family and Wilhelmina Mathilda van Praag.

Talking to Ynet, Aart recalls that "I didn't expect anything else from my parents. It was obvious that they would help the Jews. During the war my parents asked not to speak of the fact that there were people in the house. We were forbidden to speak to anyone. I was told not to discuss the people in the house, because before the Jews, they had offered sanctuary to other people for political reasons. I knew the Jews were being persecuted but I didn't know they were being murdered in the camps. My worst memory of the war was of a Jewish woman being thrown down the stairs. I stood at the bottom of the staircase and saw her falling".
Although the Jews hiding at the Plantinga lodgings paid for their own food, the danger and risk in providing food, medications and care for the group was monumental. Once a month, a member of the Underground would deliver food ration coupons, and in order not to raise suspicions, Nicolaas would make his purchases in a distant neighborhood.
In March 1944, the Plantinga?s contact person with the Underground was arrested, and their hiding place compromised. German and Dutch police surrounded the boarding house, arrested the Jews hiding there and deported them to concentration camps. Of the 10 Jews who hid at the Plantinga?s, only Wilhelmina survived. Hendrikje was sick at the time, and was not arrested.
Employer renounces couple
Nicolaas, Hendrikje and Aart could no longer remain in their home and were forced to find shelter in a factory. When the factory owner discovered that Nicolaas was wanted by the police, he denounced the family in to the authorities.
Hendrikje was eventually released, but Nicolaas was deported to the Vught concentration camp and from there to Neuengamme where he died on January 18, 1945. When Hendrikje returned home with Aart, she discovered that the entire home had been looted and she was no longer able to rent out rooms to boarders. In order to support herself, she worked as a cleaner. Hendrikje died on December 6, 1989. Wilhelmina, the only one of the hidden group who survived, currently lives in Amsterdam.
Many of Holland's Jews perished in the holocaust, sent to concentration camps, never to return. "The holocaust decimated Holland's Jewish community. 104,000 of Holland's 140,000 Jews ? were murdered. The Germans used Dutch manpower in their unflagging manhunt against the Jews. The danger of informants hanged over every man and woman who dared to offer sanctuary to a Jew. With this in mind, the bravery of those who refused to follow dictates, and sheltered their Jewish neighbors, is even more outstanding" Yad Vashem noted.
Irena Steinfeldt, director of the Righteous Department Yad Vashem said that only one of the women hidden in the couple's home survived: "the only survivor who is still alive is Wilhelmina Mathilda van Praag, she is old and feeble and lives in a Dutch nursing home.
She couldn't make it to the ceremony. This story was saved from oblivion just in time, before it disappeared to gether with the people who lived it. It is a difficult story. The family hid ten Jews and paid a heavy price for their actions.
Attempts to find last survivor
If not for Alfarsi's determination, the couple would never have received the Yad Vashem honor. She heard from Aart of his parents' bravery and decided not to sit idle.
"I have known about this story since 1986", she said. "We were studying together in his mother's house, which was the exact spot where they hid people during the war. Each time he told me a few more details. Before her death, his mother wrote him a letter, telling him the story.
I understood from Aart that there was one survivor who was still alive, because after th war, she came to visit Aart's mother. He gave me a copy of the letter and asked me to search for more survivors. I contacted Yad Vashem and they asked that we find a witness; I searched in Israel and couldn't find anyone. "
Finally, in 2001, Alfarsi located the survivor, after speaking on a radio show. Less than half an hour later, someone called the program and said she knows the survivor", said Alfasi.
Within a short time she was speaking to the survivor: "She had stayed at the boarding house for a few months, but could hardly remember her saviors. I was very excited. The survivor had probably suppressed her memories of that time, and couldn't remember some of the details. Her whole family was killed in the holocaust, she was a lone survivor".
The survivor bore witness to the deeds of the Planting family and on November 29, 2009, the Commission for the Designation of the Righteous at Yad Vashem decided to recognize Nicolaas and Hendrikje Plantinga as Righteous Among the Nations.
