Indigenous peoples of the Levant, Mesopotamia, Persia, Kurdistan, Egypt, Maghreb, the Transcaucasus and Anatolia range from very swarthy to very fair?

Being at the crossroads of three continents, and given the tumultuous history of the region, there?s bound to be great phenotypic variety?

Furthermore, Arabs ? who are indigenous to Arabia and are imperialist-colonialists in the Levant, Mesopotamia, Kurdistan, Egypt and Maghreb ? have always described themselves as White in their own texts, and have displayed scorn and contempt for black Africans, whom they continue to enslave to this day; in fact, Muhammad, whom they are commanded to emulate in thought-word-and-deed in Qur?an 33:21 (i.e., to follow the Sunna [Sahih Ahadith et al], for Muhammad is al-insan al-kamil and uswa hasana) is described as a white man (who owned, traded, and abused black slaves).

-Narrated Anas bin Malik: While we were sitting with the Prophet in the mosque, a man came riding on a camel. He made his camel kneel down in the mosque, tied its foreleg and then said: ?Who amongst you is Muhammad??. At that time the Prophet was sitting amongst us (his companions) leaning on his arm. We replied, ?THIS WHITE MAN RECLINING ON HIS ARM.?"-Sahih Bukhari Volume 1 Book 3 Number 63

-Narrated Isma'il bin Abi Khalid: I heard Abii Juhaifa saying, "I saw the Prophet, and Al-Hasan bin -Ali resembled him." I said to Abu- Juhaifa, "Describe him for me." He said, "HE WAS WHITE and his beard was black with some white hair. He promised to give us 13 young she-camels, but he expired before we could get them.!"-Sahih Bukhari Volume 4 Book 56 Number 744

-Abu Tufail reported: I saw Allah's Messenger and there is one amongst the people of the earth who (are living at the present time and) had seen him except me. I said to him: How did you find him? He said: HE HAD AN ELEGANT WHITE COLOR, and he was of an average height."-Sahih Muslim Book 30 Number 5778

-Jurairi reported: I said to Abu Tufail: Did you see Allah?s Messenger? He said: Yes, he had a white handsome face. Muslim b. Hajjaj said: Abu Tufail who died in 100 Hijra was the last of the Companions of Allah?s Messenger.??Sahih Muslim Book 30 Number 5777

-These are the names of Muhammad's male slaves: Yakan Abu Sharh, Aflah, Ubayd, Dhakwan, Tahman, Mirwan, Hunayn, Sanad, Fadala Yamamin, Anjasha al-Hadi, Mad?am, Karkara, Abu Rafi?, Thawban, Ab Kabsha, Salih, Rabah, Yara Nubyan, Fadila, Waqid, Mabur, Abu Waqid, Kasam, Abu Ayb, Abu Muwayhiba, Zayd Ibn Haritha, AND ALSO A BLACK SLAVE CALLED MAHRAN, WHO WAS RENAMED (BY MUHAMMAD) SAFINA (`SHIP?).?-Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyya?s ?Zad al-Ma'ad? part 1 p. 114-116

-The apostle of God and his companions went on a trip. (When) their belongings became too heavy for them to carry, Muhammad told me, `Spread your garment.? They filled it with their belongings, then they put it on me. The apostle of God told me, `Carry (it), for you are a ship.? Even if I was carrying the load of six or seven donkeys while we were on a journey, anyone who felt weak would throw his clothes or his shield or his sword on me so I would carry that, a heavy load. The prophet told me, `You are a ship.???Ibn Qayyim, Pages 115-116; al-Hulya, Volume 1, Page 369, quoted from Ahmad 5:222

-Narrated Anas bin Malik: Allah?s Apostle was on a journey and HE HAD A BLACK SLAVE CALLED ANJASHA, and he was driving the camels (very fast, and there were women riding on those camels). Allah's Apostle said, "Waihaka (May Allah be merciful to you), O Anjasha! Drive slowly (the camels) with the glass vessels (women)!?"-Sahih Bukhari Volume 8 Book 73 Number 182

-Narrated Jabir ibn Abdullah: There came a slave and pledged allegiance to Allah's Apostle on migration; he (the Prophet) did not know that he was a slave. Then there came his master and demanded him back, whereupon Allah's Apostle said: Sell him to me. And he bought him for two black slaves and he did not afterwards take allegiance from anyone until he had asked him whether he was a slave (or a free man). ?-Sahih Muslim Book 10 Number 3901

In fact, a canonical hadith displays Allah's preference for light over dark skin, implying that dark-skinned peoples ("Negroes") are hell-bound.

-Allah's Messenger said: Allah created Adam when He had to create him and He struck his right shoulder and there emitted from it white offspring as if they were white ants. He struck his left shoulder and there emitted from it the black offspring as if they were charcoal. He then said (to those who had been emitted) from the right (shoulder): For Paradise and I do not mind. Then He said to those (who had been emitted) from his left shoulder: They are for hell and I do not mind. Transmitted by Ahmad.--Jami at-Tirmidhi 38

-Abu Darda reported that the Holy Prophet said: Allah created Adam when he created him (sic). Then He stroke (sic) his right shoulder and took out a white race as if they were seeds, and He stroke (sic) his left shoulder and took out a black race as if they were coals. Then He said to those who were in his right side: Towards paradise and I don?t care. He said to those who were on his left shoulder: Towards Hell and I don't care. - Ahmad--Mishkat, v. iii, p. 117

Similar passages, relegating blacks to a state of slavery to al-Mu?minin [those with Imaan -- true faith in Islam] by Allah?s inviolable decree, abound in al-Tabari?s canonical History of Islam (al-Tabari at-Ta?rikh).

-Shem, the son of Noah was the father of the Arabs, the Persians, and the Greeks; Ham was the father of the Black Africans; and Japheth was the father of the Turks and of Gog and Magog who were cousins of the Turks. Noah prayed that the prophets and apostles would be descended from Shem and kings would be from Japheth. He prayed that the African?s color would change so that their descendants would be slaves to the Arabs and Turks.--Tabari II:11

-Ham [Africans] begat all those who are black and curly-haired, while Japheth [Turks] begat all those who are full-faced with small eyes, and Shem [Arabs] begat everyone who is handsome of face with beautiful hair. Noah prayed that the hair of Ham?s descendants would not grow beyond their ears, and that whenever his descendants met Shem's, the latter would enslave them.--Tabari II:21

Some fuqaha [jurists] have maintained that the punishment for calling Muhammad a black man should be death.

White-supremacy and disdain for blackness are rife in the writings of the men of Islam.

-Ahmad ibn Abi Sulayman, the companion of Sahnun, said, ?Anyone who says that the Prophet was black should be killed.?--Qadi -Iyad Musa al-Yahsubi, -Muhammad Messenger of Allah? (Ash-Shifa of Qadi -Iyad)

?The Negro nations are as a rule submissive to slavery because they have attributes that are quite similar to dumb animals.??Ibn Khaldun, ?Muqaddimah?

?When next you meet an Arab, you should ask what is the Arabic word for slave, you?ll discover that the words are the same ?abeed.? Which is why, when an Arab looks at a black African, what he sees is a slave.--Osama bin Laden

The following passage from a treatise on fiqh [jurisprudence] surrounding Jihad al-Talab wal-Ibtida? (Offensive Jihad of Conquering) implies that Arabs considered themselves white.
