Bruce Bawer Interviews Geert Wilders
Alexander Munch said...Giordano Bruno suffered a cruel death and achieved a unique martyr's fame.
He was arrested by the Inquisition and tried.
After he had recanted, Bruno was sent to Rome, in 1592, for another trial.
For eight years he was kept imprisoned and interrogated periodically.
When, in the end, he refused to recant, he was declared a heretic and burned at the stake.
He has become the Church's most difficult alibi.
She can explain away the case of Galileo with suave condescension.
Bruno sticks in her throat.
Sorry Pasto, for my graphic description. But I can't escape my nightmarish thoughts & visualize Europe willingly IMPALING itself on a pole ( the kind on the Logo of your Blog...) by Humanoids you can see in Hieronymus Bush's paintings!...
Greet Wilders' place in the hall of fame is guaranteed! ( I hope not as a Martyr!...).
Even if so, He will stick out from Europe's throat for many centuries to come!
Alex.
